Pacific Pro-Tech Services Corp (PPTS) is
locally owned and operated in Hilo, Hawaii. PPTS staff members
individually have over 8 years of technical expertise in the
computer and Internet industry. The company currently has
the ability to install, support, maintain & administer
a vast amount of computer operating systems and applications.
We have a thorough understanding of Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/2003/XP,
LINUX/UNIX and MacOS operating systems. We also have extensive
knowledge of various Internet and business applications. PPTS
can also design, maintain, and troubleshoot small to large
network infrastructures, which include peer-to-peer networks,
10/100/1000 base networks, multi-level switched networks,
and Wide Area Networks (WANs). PPTS also has the ability to
work with 802.11x wireless networks.
Pacific Pro-Tech Services main focus
is to provide a diverse array of products and services in
the computing and networking industry. Our goal is to help
support the many individuals and businesses, throughout the
state of Hawaii, that are having an increasing need for technological
assistance. PPTS is specifically focusing on four major areas
of technology.
1. Computer Servicing - Includes upgrades, repair, administration,
removal of malware (more commonly known as adware or spyware),
virus removal, and protection/preventative maintenance. Computer
servicing may take place on the customer’s premise,
or in our office (walk-in/drop-off).
The computer servicing focus would be for Big Island customers
only.
2. Network Engineering, Installation,
and Configuration – LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN
(Wide Area Network), certification, maintenance, troubleshooting
and administration.
3. Affordable Internet Access - Provide the community with
local options for Internet access with helpful, friendly and
knowledgeable customer service. These services would include
being able to provide nationwide dial-up access, broadband
Internet access, spam/virus email filtering, web hosting,
co-location and e-commerce solutions.
4. Educating the Public, People & Community – Provide
informational classes and workshops to inform those who
attend about new trends in technology and the Internet.
